Help Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board feed people struggling with hunger in Montgomery County!
MontCo Anti-Hunger Network provides resources that help over
70 food pantries and soup kitchens feed more than 84,000 people per year!
Dollars donated to Freedom From Hunger pay for wholesale purchase and distribution of high quality and high demand food items such as eggs, protein, and personal care products.
Other resources that MAHN provides include:
- Food pantry connection to large scale resources that individual service providers are unable to access.
- Door to door delivery of rescued retail grocer food on a flexible “take what you need” basis totaling more than 181 tons per year.
- Inter-pantry food sharing service (more than 42 tons from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022), so nothing gets wasted.
- Storage and distribution of food donations too large for any one food pantry to manage. We never have to say no to a good thing!
Your support keeps Montgomery County's emergency food system strong and comes at no cost to service providers.
